MINIGEAR MS-03 Snoot Diving Light
A snoot narrows your beam to a tight, controllable spot of light. Instead of lighting up the whole scene, you place the light exactly where you want it — the tool for macro and super-macro shooting, where the background should stay dark and the subject should glow.
What it does
The condenser head focuses the beam, so the snoot throws a small circle of light rather than a wide cone. That lets you isolate a single subject — a nudibranch, a shrimp, one coral polyp — and shoot clean black-background images without repositioning your strobes for every shot. It sits in front of your light and points exactly where you aim it.
MS-03A or MS-03C?
Both versions use the same snoot body. MS-03A is the straight condenser-head version — point and shoot. MS-03C adds a rotation head that turns the filter holder, so you change colours by rotating the head instead of pulling filters off and refitting them by hand. It comes with four filter holders and seven coloured filters for tuning colour underwater, including for ambient-light shooting.
