When shooting close to marine life, the circular catchlight appears naturally in the subject’s eyes, adding depth and a lively presence for stunning underwater portraits.

Designed with a color temperature of 5600K to closely match natural daylight. An amber coating on the flash tube produces light that is soft and natural, resembling sunlight underwater. The dedicated diffuser is specially engineered to maintain consistent color fidelity — so your colors stay accurate shot after shot.

The YS-D130R supports RC Mode of the OM SYSTEM Wireless RC Flash System. Flash output can be precisely controlled via digital light signals from the camera, enabling accurate exposure control with compatible OM SYSTEM cameras for a seamless underwater shooting experience.

A color LCD panel clearly displays battery level, strobe mode, and exposure compensation at a glance. Each shooting mode is color-coded for instant recognition — readable even in dark underwater environments or during night dives.

The world’s first strobe with a dual battery system — compatible with both a high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack (SB-L02, 7.2V / 3000mAh) and standard AA batteries (Ni-MH or alkaline). The lithium pack enables high-speed recycling for rapid consecutive shooting so you never miss a critical moment.

The YS-D130R supports High-Speed Sync (HSS), emitting a rapid series of flashes while the shutter curtains travel across the sensor. This enables flash synchronization at shutter speeds faster than the camera’s standard sync speed — ideal for shooting in bright ambient conditions while maintaining controlled strobe exposure.
